I grew up watching more films than doing homework — now I see cinema everywhere. And this is a little story about how I learned to speak through it.

I spent my childhood in Belarus, where long winters kept us indoors — and the only escape was TV. Whatever film happened to be on, we watched it.

No one ever told me that art could make money, and I’m grateful for that.

I tried everything without pressure: painting on canvases, writing fanfics, singing full-heartedly into the camera, filming silly videos with friends.

At 18, I still had no idea how
to live, so I ended up studying customs law. The most creativity-starved period of my life. I started making websites and landed a designer position at an insurance company.

It didn’t take long to realize:
I liked design as an art form, not as a marketing tool. I burned out fast and quit without a plan.

In 2021, the road opened — and the world unfolded in front of us, country by country. Nature stirred something quiet and deep in me. I picked up a camera to hold on to what words couldn’t carry.

A year later, I released my first deeply personal video on YouTube — about the mess of trying to find your way. It was clumsy, honest, and very me. There was no way back.

Change is painful, but nothing is worse than staying in a place that doesn’t belong to you.

I express emotions through whatever medium I can — painting, words, sound — but film feels the most alive. The road, the wild, a free spirit and a quiet mind — that’s how I live now.
